You’ll work directly with our Chief of Science and technical leadership on state-of-the-art methods, using real financial data and production-level compute to push the limits of scalable ML systems.

Requirements

3+ years background in machine learning/deep learning and math

Experience with foundation models, incl. LLMs, time-series and multimodal models

Strong development skills: Pytorch, C++, ideally HPC

Background in finance and algorithmic trading as a plus

For PhD students and AI professionals balancing multiple projects we offer a Flexible collaboration with no hourly commitment. This track gives access to open datasets and an opportunity to work toward publications. It is unpaid and does not provide access to internal infrastructure.

Irina Rish

Irina Rish is a Full Professor at the Université de Montréal (UdeM), where she leads the Autonomous AI Lab, and is a core faculty member of MILA - Quebec AI Institute. She holds a Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) and a CIFAR Chair. Irina completed her MSc and PhD in AI at the University of California, Irvine, and holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Gubkin Institute.
